Cintropur inline low pressure water filters

Cintropur filtration, sleeves and accessories

CINTROPUR inline industrial and domestic low pressure water filters are ideal for domestic, industrial and agricultural water supplies.

CINTROPUR filters turn the linear water flow into a centrifugal motion, trapping the larger particles down into the transparent bowl by means of the filtering capacity of the multi-size filter sleeves.

CINTROPUR® offers a double-stage low pressure water filtration concept. First, the water flow is directly transformed into a centrifugal spin forcing the larger particles down into the lower bowl. The next stage of filtration is achieved by the filter sleeve, available in different finenesses ranging from 5 up to 300µ.

CINTROPUR filters are a robust, reliable and economic solution for protecting sanitary fittings, washing machines,  irrigation systems and any other water appliances. Combined with the CINTROPUR activated carbon and ultraviolet disinfection units, CINTROPUR is an ecological and inexpensive method for the filtration of rain, ground and well water.

Providing maximum filtration with minimal flow restriction this Cintropur filters remove sludge and sediment and, along with our activated carbon filters, eliminate bad taste and odours.

KEY CINTROPUR BENEFITS:

  • High and constant flow rate
  • Low pressure water flitration
  • Inline industrial filtration
  • Fast and easy flushing out
  • Visual control of the filter
  • Food & Potable water grade
  • Inexpensive maintenance
  • Multiple pore sizes

Cintropur Centrifugal Filtration

Two filtering principles:

While the standar centrifugal filters remove particles up to 5 microns, the activated carbon filters help with the  removal of odour, chlorine, ozone and micropolutants such as pesticides and other dissolved organic substances.

Cintropur treatment: activated carbon water filters

The water treatment (TE-CTN) activated carbon water filters are an excellent choice for the removal of chemicals in the water.
Polyphosphates silicates and silicon-polyphosphates used to reduce the harmful and scaling effects of the water hardness.
Activated carbon CINTROPUR SCIN suitable for the improvement of taste and the removal of odour, chlorine, ozone, micropolutants such as pesticides and other dissolved organic substances.

Cintropur UV sterilization

Thanks to its simplicity and efficiency, water sterilization by UV radiation has developed extensively in the recent years.  This particular disinfection method is known as one demolishing legionella, microbes, bacteria, viruses and protozoa, while having no negative impacts on the environment. This is the ideal method to remove micro-organisms from water, and thus make it potable in terms of bacteriology.

Water treated in this way cannot be regarded as of drinking quality unless its chemical properties are compliant to relevant standards.

Cintropur for bore water & rainwater: DUO, TRIO

1. Filters: The spiral structure of the filter generates a centrifugal force, which, in a cyclone effect, moves larger particles towards the bottom of the bowl.

2. Purifies: Treatment by activated carbon removes unpleasant tastes and odours, as well as pesticides and herbicides from the water. Activated carbon is contained in a separate holder for easy replacement. The activated carbon media can easily be replaced by screwing off the top cover;

3. Sterilises: UVc water sterilisation to ensure the bacteria-free quality of water.

Cintropur spares: activated carbon and filter sleeves

There are 1 micron, 5 micron, 10 micron, 25 micron, 50 micron, 100 micron, 150 micron and 300 micron filter sleeves available.

1, 5 and 10 micron are typical for membrane protection (nano filtration and reverse osmosis)

25 micron is a typical pore size for retaining all particles from rainwater, well water or mains water (this is the pore size by default).

50 and 100 microns are typical for pre-filters when multiple stages are used.

150 and 300 microns are typical for irrigation, protecting spray nozzles and for coarse pre-filtration.

The activated carbon improves the water taste removing odours, chlorine, ozone, micropollutants such as pesticides and other dissolved organic substances.
